Celebrate Fourth of July: Red or White Wine & No One is Blue

Looking for a little summer somethin’ to sip on while you pick apart your snow crab legs and marinate your west indies salad for your 4th of July get together? We know it’s going to be hot and crowded- to say the least- so we’ve got just the drink that will relax those traffic-induced nerves and quench that unbearable summer thirst.

Our 2012 Napa Valley Rose is a light, subtle Pinot Noir that is enriched with a wild strawberry flavor giving it a sweet and savory finish. Its crisp, refreshing taste and golden pink color makes for the perfect 4th of July wine to complement your seafood dish and give your table that fun, decorative pop of color it needs!

A Rose such as this can be paired with almost any summer food, such as anything from a light pasta or salad to a raw or lightly cooked shellfish topped with a little goat cheese. It’s up to you, but if you’re stumped and needing some direction on what to serve, our friends from Bon Appetite have provided us with 10 light fish and seafood dinner recipes that will have your guests coming back for more.

We all know holidays can sometimes be more stressful than fun, but not this year. It’s time to sit back, relax and let our Rose, your 4th of July wine make it the best one yet!
