Mira Mural Countdown: Michelle Weaver

Day 3: Mira Winery is proud to feature Michelle Weaver on our Mira mural “Renoir Redux: Exceptional Pairings.”

In the 14 days leading up to the July 1st unveiling of “Renoir Redux: Exceptional Pairings” – a building sized mural on Queen Street in Charleston, South Carolina – and the the groundbreaking of the Napa Valley Education Center and Tasting Room, Mira is profiling each of the 14 faces who have impacted the Charleston food scene that are portrayed in the Mira mural.

An Alabama native, Michelle gained an appreciation for cooking and the importance of farm-to-table early in life. Upon graduation from the New England Culinary Institute, Michelle gained experience cooking in the kitchen of Chef Bob Waggoner at the Wild Boar restaurant in Nashville, TN. For the past 17 years, she has been working at the Charleston Grill, where she has served as the Executive Chef since 2009.
