Mira Winemaker featured on Eat Drink Explore radio

Mira Winery’s winemaker Gustavo Gonzalez was featured on California’s Eat Drink Explore radio program to discuss Mira recently making history in Charleston, South Carolina by submerging four cases of 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon for underwater aging testing.

“We’ve all read the stories of the shipwrecks that had Champagne recovered and the Champagne was fantastic…So we thought, you know, why don’t we try to age our wine in the sea for a little bit and see what happens.”
