Mira President interviewed on NPR

Mira Winery President Jim “Bear” Dyke Jr was featured on National Public Radio to discuss Mira recently submerging four cases of 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon into Charleston Harbor to experiment with the affects of the underwater elements on the aging of the wine.  Wine Enthusiast Magazine’s Managing Editor Joe Czerwinski, likes the energy efficiency of the wine experiment, but isn’t sold on the results:

“I think the idea is interesting and has merit, I am just not sold on the taste thing.”
