Waiting? Drink Wine!
Ever wondered what was the best way to relieve boredom from waiting? Well that’s easy…drink some wine! It’s just that simple. We’ve all been in these types of situations where we find ourselves waiting for a table, food, guests, or an event to commence. So, why not sit down and enjoy a glass of wine?!
Need some guidelines? One of suggestion that Cathy Huyghe mentions in “Wines to Drink While You Wait” is to choose a wine with low alcohol. A good rule of thumb is to pick a wine that has 12.5% abv or lower. That way you’re happy but not too happy.
“Get the most out of your wait with a wine that’s floral, aromatic and pleasant to drink — grapes like Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, and Gewürtztraminer will do this for you almost every time.”
Another great suggestion, if you find yourself overwhelm with so many options. No sweat, choose bubbles. Sparkling wines are food-friendly, affordable, and fun!
Huyghe continues to suggest other great tips on what to drink in “Wines to Drink While You Wait”. So the next time you’re waiting, discover new ways to please with your taste buds with a glass of wine.
