Mira Mural Countdown: Nathalie Dupree

Day 14: Mira Winery is proud to feature Nathalie Dupree on our mural "Renoir Redux: Exceptional Pairings."

In the 14 days leading up to the July 1st unveiling of “Renoir Redux: Exceptional Pairings” – a building sized mural on Queen Street in Charleston, South Carolina - and the the groundbreaking of the Napa Valley Education Center and Tasting Room, Mira is profiling each of the 14 faces who have impacted the Charleston food scene that are portrayed in the mural.

A native Southerner and best-selling author with 13 hardback and two softback southern cookbooks, as well as having hosted more than 300 television programs for The Food Network, PBS, and The Learning Channel.  Nathalie has won James Beard awards for her cookbooks “Southern Memories,” “Comfortable Entertaining” and “Nathalie Dupree’s Mastering of the Art of Southern Cooking.” Nathalie is also the Founding Chairman of the Charleston Food and Wine Festival,  the Atlanta and Charleston Chapters of Les Dames d’ Escoffier,as well as A founder of Southern Foodways, the American Institute of Wine and Food and the International Association of Culinary Professionals.
