Mira Mural Countdown: Karalee Nielsen Fallert

Day 12: Mira Winery is proud to feature Karalee Nielsen Fallert on our mural "Renoir Redux: Exceptional Pairings."

In the 14 days leading up to the July 1st unveiling of “Renoir Redux: Exceptional Pairings” – a building sized mural on Queen Street in Charleston, South Carolina - and the the groundbreaking of the Napa Valley Education Center and Tasting Room, Mira is profiling each of the 14 faces who have impacted the Charleston food scene that are portrayed in the mural.

Known as one of the most prolific and progressive restaurateurs in Charleston, Karalee Fallert is motivated by conceptualizing a project, seeing the show coming together and ultimately creating a space for the community to enjoy. She started out by co-creating and founding Raval on Upper King Street in 2005 and continued with other popular spots: Taco Boy Folly Beach (2006), Monza (2007), Taco Boy downtown (2009), Closed for Business (2009), The Royal American (2011), Lee Lee’s Hot Kitchen and The Park Café in (2014).
