To make exceptional wine you need many things. Years of experience, access to the best fruit sources, a state-of-the-art winery, and the finest barrels in the world. But you also need a forklift. This winery workhouse comes into play at every stage in the winemaking process from receiving and processing fruit to moving wines through tanks and barrels. For a small winery like Mira you also need an outstanding driver like our assistant winemaker, Jesus Medina, who can maneuver our forklifts through the complex horizontal and vertical layout of the winery.
