Celebrate National Drink Wine Day!
Every year on February 18, wine lovers across the U.S. unite to celebrate National Drink Wine Day, a day focused on engaging about wine, conversing about wine and most importantly drinking wine!
The purpose of National Drink Wine Day is to spread the love and health benefits of wine. Wine has played an important role in our history, our religion and of course our relationships. What do you value most about wine? The reduced risk of heart disease and other health studies that show drinking wine (in moderation) has positive implications – the enhancement of food based on flavor profiles – the memories you and loved ones have created after opening a bottle? We would love to hear how wine has made a difference in your life!
Check out media coverage of National Drink Wine Day & on Facebook at facebook.com/drinkwineday and Twitter at twitter.com/drinkwineday.
See below what our customers have to say about some of our wines! Bottoms up, all day long!
“The 2010 Cabernet is excellent! My favorite wine has been the Mira 2008 Cabernet Sauvignon until the 2010 arrived this past month. The 2010 has similar flavors/aroma to previous years but the 2010 pulls them together for an experience that is more refined. Aged beyond its years.”
“The reviews of all who tried the 2012 Pinot Noir Rosé were positive. The best review of all: it was entirely consumed!”
“The 2011 Pinot Noir – An easy pinot to drink with or without a meal.”
“The 2011 Chardonnay is very nice, similar to wines out of Burgundy at much higher price points. Aged in 100% stainless, it is unlike most full-bodied, buttery California Chardonnays. Rather, more subtle, fruit flavors prevail. Holds up well as an aperitif but particularly shines with seafood. Try it.”
