Mira Mural Countdown: Craig Deihl

Day 13: Mira Winery is proud to feature Craig Deihl on our mural "Renoir Redux: Exceptional Pairings."

In the 14 days leading up to the July 1st unveiling of “Renoir Redux: Exceptional Pairings” – a building sized mural on Queen Street in Charleston, South Carolina - and the the groundbreaking of the Napa Valley Education Center and Tasting Room, Mira is profiling each of the 14 faces who have impacted the Charleston food scene that are portrayed in the mural.

A two-time James Beard award nominee and 2010 Chef of the Year by the Charleston chapter of the American Culinary Foundation, Craig is a graduate of the culinary program at Johnson & Wales University and is known for his American and global food laiseez-faire. Craig is also a founding member of the Butcher’s Guild, the leader of Slow Food Charleston’s Chefs-in-Schools program and a steadfast observer of the Sustainable Seafood Initiative.
