New Ideas Compliment Classic Ways
Napa Valley is known for its production of fantastic wines and beautiful vineyards. Many of these vineyards have been passed down by the generations, as was the case with Paul Goldberg who started working with his father-in-law, Larry Bettinelli, on his Napa vineyards. Mr. Bettinelli, who has been making wine for 50 years, had his grape growing routine set perfectly. “There’s no substitute for boots on the ground.” However, with technology always growing, Paul Goldberg had some new ideas to make their job a little easier by using new tools and techniques brought on by modern innovation
“Although I respected his traditional methods, I knew we were missing a technological edge needed to improve efficiency without compromising quality…The evolution of Napa grape growing.”
With the addition of these new technologies, they both agree that the quality of the grapes have kept their quality and they have more time to walk the vineyards for leisure and enjoy the beauty of Napa Valley.
