Wandering Blonde Wine O thinks Mira is “worth every sip!”
The Wandering Blonde Wine O (Twitter: @BlondeWineO) loves Cabernet Sauvignon, “I love Cabs. I love them so much, sometimes I don’t even realize we don’t have anything, but cabs in our house.” So we were over the moon to hear that she enjoyed our “phenomenal” 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon!
What did I love about Mira 2010 Cabernet? Pepper. Black pepper. That is probably my favorite characteristic of a red wine. I’m a sucker for pepper. With pepper usually comes licorice, which I hate in candy, but have come to love in wine. With the Mira 2010 Cab, black cherry floats on the palate as well as hints of cedar. Soft tannins – so no mouth smacking happening after sipping this beauty. Basically, this wine had everything I love in a Cab. It was bold, smooth on the tongue and had a juicy finish. Made up of 91% Cabernet, 5% Cab franc and 4% Syrah.
The Wandering Blonde Wine O recommends the wine for casual night sipping or as “a great special occasion wine.”
The price….drum roll…..$52. Hold your horses, this wine was worth every sip.
But don’t just take our or Wandering Blonde Wine O’s word for it try it for yourself and see if you agree!
It is really on a different level of Cabs. Your taste buds will thank you.
